Double Tap
Double tap is a shooting technique where two shots are fired in rapid succession at the same target with the same sight picture (as opposed to the controlled pair, whereby a second sighting is acquired for the second shot). Instruction and practice of the double-tap improves accuracy as shooters often do not have the gun fully extended on the first shot meaning the second shot of a double-tap is usually more accurate.

The Double Tap League is a dynamic and engaging shooting style designed around self-defense scenarios. Shooters move through a course with various barriers, targeting "bad guys" while avoiding "hostages." Starting in a surrender position, participants draw from their holster and wait for the range officer's command to begin. With accuracy and speed both crucial for scoring, the league offers a fun and challenging way to sharpen your shooting skills in a competitive setting.
