Join Allied Sportsmen in representing our club on the Niagara Frontier Pistol League team! Whether you're a seasoned shooter or just starting out, all skill levels are encouraged to participate thanks to handicap scoring. However, please note that all participants must shoot one-handed. The league primarily focuses on .22 handguns, but there's also an option to join the centerfire division if you want to try your hand at that! As a traveling league, we'll visit other ranges in the region, competing alongside their teams in a friendly, shoulder-to-shoulder format. If attending matches is a challenge, you can still contribute by shooting ahead and submitting your score card to the team captain. Schedule:
October- Early March, 1 match per week
2024-2025 Schedule: TBD
Week surrounding Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s are generally BYE weeks.
Home Matches: Generally, Monday nights, 7:30pm unless there’s a full line.
Away Matches: Depends on team we are shooting against that specific week. 7:30pm start, unless there is a full line.
Course of fire:
- Slow Fire Stage: 10 shots in 10 minutes. First string of 5 loaded on range
officer’s command. Second string of 5 loaded at will. - Timed Fire Stage: 2 strings of 5 rounds each, 20 seconds per string. Both strings will be loaded on the range officer’s command.
- Rapid Fire Stage: 2 strings of 5 rounds each, 10 seconds per string. Both strings will be loaded on the range officer’s command.
