Indoor Range Rules

These rules are for your protection and all those using this facility. Please read them prior to using this
range.
- The use of hearing and eye protection on the range is mandatory.
- Whenever discharging a firearm occurs in the range, the ventlation system must be on and all range entry doors must be closed at all times.
- Alcoholic beverages or smoking are not permitted in the range. Anyone under the influence of any intoxicant (drugs or alcohol) will not be permited on the range.
- All shooting will be from the designated firing line.
- Only hanging paper targets are allowed.
- All forms of trick shooting are strictly forbidden.
- Loaded gun handling on the firing line only; guns must be pointed down range at all times.
- All cylinders must be empty, slides must be open, and magazines removed before anyone is allowed down range.
- No one will go forward if other shooters are on the firing line.
- Ammo – no ballistic tips of any type such as 17 HMR, 5.7, or larger rifle rounds such as 223 etc.
- Standard jacketed and hollow point pistol rounds are permitted such as 22 rimfire, 9mm, .40 45 ACP etc.
- No shotguns or ammo containing “shot” of any kind are allowed.
- Please clean up after yourself.
- Range/Line Officer commands must be followed by any means.
- Replace orange safety caps on pistol hangers.
- Target holders’ default position is now FACE. DO NOT manually turn the target hangers.
- Please maximize the use of your paper-hanging targets. Each target should have a minimum of 15 bullet holes before disposing. If less than maximized put it in the hanging basket in front of the podium for center fire ammo use.
- Minimum age is 12 years old.
- No broadheads of any type may be used on Allied’s targets or butts at any time.
Failure to follow the above rules will result in your expulsion from the range with review in front of the Board and possible termination of membership
