Explanation of Lewis Option and High Gun
Lewis Purse: Basically, the Lewis is a lottery; although it always rewards the high scorer, all the other winners are the result of the luck of the draw.
Example: – Lewis Purse …. 3 Classes 60/40% 1st Class 50/30/20% next two Classes
1. Total Purse: 33 enter at $10.00 = $330.00 total collect purse money $330 – 3 classes = $110.00 class
1st Class 2nd Class 3rd Class 60% = $66.00 50% = $55.00 50% = $55.00 40% = $44.00 30% = $33.00 30% = $33.00 20% = $22.00 20% = $22.00
Score and Payoff - Example 1-100 Winners Class 1-60% = $66.00 1-99 Runner-ups Class 1-40% = $44.00 2nd Class 3rd Class 2-93 50% = $18.50 each 2-89 50% = $18.50 each 1-92 30% = $33.00 each 1-88 30% = $33.00 each 1-91 20% = $22.00 each 1-87 20% = $22.00 each
When added money is included in our program on August 2, the added money with go into the over Lewis Total purse for each event. In order to be eligible for the money a shooter must play the play the Lewis option in the 16 yard event and for the second part of the added money a shooter must play the Lewis event in the Handicap.
High Gun Option
– a $ 1.00 entry fee pays the top score 100% of monies collected. Example – 30 shooters play the $ 1.00 option = $30.00 total monies
I —top score winner would receive $30.00; if there is a tie for top score then the money is divided equally.
